Phoenix childrens home
The Phoenix Children’s Home was launched in 2019 by Phoenix Child Welfare to provide holistic care and services to children in urgent need of protection. The establishment of the Home within our own community was a deliberate step to minimize the trauma often associated with the removal and placement of children in alternate care. By ensuring that children remain connected to their familiar surroundings, culture, and heritage, the Home promotes a stronger sense of belonging and supports smoother adaptation during a difficult transition.
Our primary goal is to meet the needs of children who, for various reasons, cannot live with their own families. Beyond offering nutritious meals, secure shelter, and a safe space for play and leisure, the Home provides an environment where children can grow, learn, and develop in a nurturing atmosphere.
In 2021, Phoenix Child Welfare embarked on an ambitious expansion project, constructing a double storey building to increase our capacity. This new facility can accommodate up to 24 children and addresses, in part, the growing demand for a safe and supportive home for vulnerable young children.
A milestone moment in our history took place on 21 May 2023, when we proudly celebrated the official opening of Phase 2 of the Phoenix Children’s Home. The upgraded facility allows boys and girls to be housed separately and offers improved living spaces that meet their needs. at present, two dedicated house mothers provide loving care to 11 children between the ages of 2 and 18.

The spacious and adaptable event hall is suitable for gatherings of up to 100 guests, making it perfect for intimate celebrations, workshops, seminars, meetings, and more.
